Precision medicine is changing the way we understand, diagnose and treat cancer. The transformation is driven by high-throughput molecular data from patients, animal models, and large-scale experiments. In this program, we will explore how the various -omics data types can be analyzed to understand the basic biology associated with cancer onset, development, and outcomes and see how large-scale biomedical data provides an opportunity to improve precision oncology.
This course was great for me as I was hoping to refresh my basics of bioinformatics and learn new concepts in-depth. In addition, lectures and hands-on training were very interesting and informative. The structure of the class allowed excellent back-and-forth among the students and Elia. Sahil did a great job managing the course. Pine Biotech's platform is very comprehensive and intuitive. This course is a good starting point for someone trying to understand the field of bioinformatics or refresh their knowledge.
